Trip Itinerary--Thank you for your prayers!

Below is a basic itinerary for our team.  We know God is in every detail of this trip.  We hope you find this useful as a guide when you pray.  Thank you in advance for your faithfulness and prayers!

Wednesday, July 20th
The team will meet at the church and travel to the airport together for Turkish Airlines Flight 32, Atlanta to Istanbul, leaving at 10:45pm.

Thursday, July 21st
Most of this day will be spent in the air.  The team will have a short layover in Istanbul before boarding Turkish Airlines Flight 612, Istanbul to Entebbe, Uganda, leaving at 6:20pm local time.

Friday, July 22nd
The team will arrive in Entebbe at 2:55am Ugandan time (this is 7 hours ahead of EST).  After clearing customs, the team will travel by bus to Mbale.  The bus ride will take approximately 5 hours.  Upon arrival in Mbale, the team will go straight to Ebenezer Baptist Church to serve lunch and fellowship with the children.

With so many of us traveling such a great distance, we pray for smooth travel, quick solutions to problems as they arise, safety and comfort on the flights and bus ride, and peace to reign in Uganda, Turkey, and in our hearts!!

Saturday, July 23rd
Our team will spend the day at the church, touring the village, assisting with meals, visiting the local hospital, and leading Bible study and singing with the children.  Also, Ken and Kenya will take a special road trip to the country of Kenya.  Pray for relationships to form and God to be glorified as we get to know the people of Ebenezer and the children of the village.  Pray for a safe and special trip for Ken and Kenya.

Sunday, July 24th
This day will be a day of worship with Ebenezer Baptist Church.  Pray for the team as we lead in worship and Bible study, fellowship with the children, and in the evening, make final preparations for the pastor’s conference.

Monday, July 25th through Wednesday, July 27th
On these days, our team will be leading a pastor’s conference every morning, women’s Bible study and Crusade services in the afternoon and evening.  Pray that pastors will grow in knowledge and faith, women will be encouraged in their faith and that the Holy Spirit will move in the midst of the crusade to draw as many as possible to repentance and faith in Christ.

Thursday, July 28th
This will be the team’s last visit with Ebenezer.  We depart the church for Entebbe at noon.  We will arrive at the airport for Turkish Airlines Flight 612 departing at 3:55am Friday morning, Entebbe to Istanbul.

Friday, July 29th
The team will arrive in Istanbul at 10:15am and after a short layover, will take Turkish Airlines Flight 31, Istanbul to Atlanta, arriving home at 7:05pm.  For the return home, please continue to pray for peace, smooth transitions and safe travels.

  1. I am praying for your team and the people of Mbale! I cannot wait to hearrive all that God does there through you for the sweet people of that village, but I also know the greatest change God will make will be in each of your hearts. The mission field changes those who "go" as much as those who are already there. God's blessings for each of you! I'm certainly sad I'm not there.
