Oh Lord, we thank You for the promise of Your Word, for Your faithfulness to us, and for Your perfect timing. We thank You for our brothers and sisters serving at Ebenezer Baptist Church in Mbale. We ask that You pour out Your blessings on them, giving them strength to serve you without growing weary of the work. We pray that they will grow deeper, wider, and stronger in their relationship with You, and they will lovingly disciple one another in the faith. Guard their hearts, Lord, against temptations of all kinds and protect them from evil. We pray that they would experience Joy overflowing as they reap a harvest in Your name. Amen.
P.S. In honor of the end of tax season (she's been working so many long hours!), I decided to include a picture of Mary Faye Moore, one of Mission Mbale's founders. I just love this photo, taken at the crusade service in Uganda last summer. She is the perfect picture of that Joy overflowing. We love you, Mama Mary!
